: Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace with you in eternal life. Lord have mercy on their souls. We ask this through Christ our Lord. AMEN
6. Pick a person that has died that you would like ot pray for. What will this person find rest from now that they have died? (For example: sickness, pain, struggle, worry, temptation, etc.)
7. "Perpetual" and "eternal" mean forever. Imagine this person standing in the light of Christ forever. Describe what they might look like full of this light and joy.
8. What light did this person give to you during his or her life?
9. Take a moment of peaceful silence. What do you remember most about this person?
10. We look forward to and prepare for the feast of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. We even prepare for Halloween. Have you ever prepared for the Feast of All Saints & All Souls? Give 2 ways you could prepare to celebrate this feast.
